What a month September has been! We have produced an advert for our good friends at the Scottish Business Network (SBN), contributed a film piece to Scottish International Week and have been working hard at our Scottish Step dancing and Gaelic song classes.

The SBN message came from around the globe. It brings together SBN ambassadors in praise of Scotland, what the country has achieved and looks towards a positive future. The business community contributed heavily to this with messages of innovation, technological advances and of course, Scottish humour! Check it out below.

We moved straight from one filming project to another. As you can see from the picture above our Scottish International Week project was a serious business. ‘The Tradition with TAoES’ was a whistle stop tour through the rich culture that Scotland holds with Scots song, Step dancing, Gaelic song and the man himself- Robert Burns. Still available via catch up #SIW.

Ainsley has just started teaching some ‘Spooky Halloween’ songs so we are all ready for 31st. Here she is taking notes with her serious pen!

At TAoES HQ, we have been working like little trojans over lockdown.

Don’t get us wrong, it’s been a trying time, as we’re both performers and the events side of TAoES has not been out and about performing as usual. 

Although, we’ve kept ourselves singing and dancing with live zoom performances and musical postcards for birthdays and other special occasions. It’s a cracking gift for those that already have so much. It’s also a great way to scare, sorry, we mean surprise… someone in your family on their special day. We saw some real looks of terror when we randomly joined some zoom calls, but luckily it all went to plan and we didn’t scare folk too much. 

We can provide anything your heart desires for these performances, from Carol King to some Gaelic Puirt, so get creative with your asks, we love a challenge.

We’ve also kept our Step Dance and Gaelic Song Classes going on a Sunday for a strong 24 weeks. We can’t tell you how much we have enjoyed doing our Sunday classes. We so appreciate the wonderful TAoES Community that attend every week.
